Who We Are
Dream Step Studios makes original work, and keeps a door open for artists who are ready to take the next step.
The Name
A dream, and the step you take toward it. Dream Step Studios embodies the idea that you should always strive to accomplish the dreams that make you happy.
The Work
Original artwork, made by us!
The Room
The community we wish to create is one that people can make, enjoy, and watch us create art that brings people together. We want everyone to be true to who they are, and express themselves to the fullest.
Dream Step Studios opened in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 2023. The idea was simple: artists should get to explore who they are, take what inspires them, and express themselves in a way that breathes life into others and lets others feel everything that makes us human.
What we do comes in multiple forms. We create art that people can connect with, whether it be animation, illustrations, graphics, or even comics. We are also working on a digital art application, Lucidity Paints, that people can use comfortably to create art in various forms. The Studio designs, prints, and ships orders out. And as we build our animation team, we look forward to delivering top quality animations for everyone to enjoy.
The world is growing in fantastic ways. The internet has allowed us to connect with communities far and wide. Art has always been something that has connected us for as long as time has shown. And we hope to accept that torch, run with it, and pass it to the next generations to come. We will continue to stand for people who want to express themselves, embrace who they are, and follow their dreams on what makes them happy.
Steven Martin
Founder
The founder, Steven Martin, was born in Queens, New York. He's had a passion for art ever since he was in grade school, and that passion never left him. He served honorably in the Marine Corps, then spent years in information technology, learning the ins and outs of technology. He carried that passion for art into a degree in Graphic Design, with a concentration in Animation, at Southern New Hampshire University. And when that degree was finished, he opened Dream Step Studios.
Art can put a smile on a person's face. That is a life worth building.
A picture, a story, a shirt someone actually wears: any of it can reach a person. Steven chose to make a living doing the work he loves, and in 2023 that became Dream Step Studios in Charlotte, North Carolina. We want this to be a place where people can take their own step, express who they are, and let the work bring someone else a little joy.

A Team, and the Work It Will Carry.
We are building and honing an animation team so the pieces we release are worth sitting down for. News is where that work will show up first.
